Equalizer represents the next-generation flash lending marketplace, bringing together liquidity providers and borrowers.
We incentivize liquidity providers by offering them passive income for the same token they have provided as liquidity and giving them Equalizer governance tokens proportional to their funds and the lending duration.
The borrowers (or arbitrageurs) have access to a plethora of highly liquid tokens. These borrowers can then use the funds to trade, quickly execute market-making activities and take advantage of liquidation opportunities.

Tell us about how you come up with idea of This project?

One year ago I heard about Flash Loans and I was amazed of this unique feature available only on blockchain. It’s still difficult to believe that someone can have a loan without providing a collateral, even it’s only for a few seconds.
That was the moment when something clicked and I felt the need to dig deeper and to explore all the possible use cases of flash lending. The conclusion was clear: flash lending in DeFi is a virgin market with a lot of opportunities. Equalizer has the ambition to build the first flash loans marketplace that enables DeFi users to profit from all these opportunities.
The team is working together from the last 4 years for different projects, equalizer is the result of a very good understanding between us

Currently use of FLASH LOANS are limited to ETH blockchain but BSC and DOT blockchains are gaining huge traction. So will your project explore ways to bring use of FLASH LOANS in other chains like BSC AND DOT?

It’s true, for example our platform will be launched in the coming months. We are working very actively on its development the 1st Milestone is to launch it on Main Ethereum Chain, then, the 2nd Milestone is to launch it on Binance Smart Chain, soon after Ethrereum
In parallel we research and investigate the possibilities of launching Equalizer on Polkadot, Solana and other EVM-compatible chains

So, What are the roles EQUALISER native token $EQZ play in your project?

The governance model will be based on the instant governance model, which implies that changes to protocol parameters will take effect almost instantly rather than having to wait for lengthy voting periods, which is in line with our general focus on responsiveness and celerity in all processes. This will allow token holders to decide on the fine-tuned profitability model for each token’s vault based on market evolutions, providing a dynamic goldilocks level that makes the vault profitable at all times for both liquidity providers and arbitrageurs.
This governance structure is made possible by the following DAO-like voting procedure — each governance token holder can stake their tokens to vote and the weight of each user’s vote is proportional to the total number of tokens staked. On a daily basis, the results of the weighted votes are tallied and applied.

What inspired how you arrived at the project name “EQUALIZER”? in real sense, what significance does the name have in the project functioning and ecosystem development?😚😚

As we develop a platform that will be used for use cases like arbitrage, collateral swapping, liquidations and portfolio rebalancing, it can be seen as a tool to equalize the markets and to balance the price between different different protocols.
We claim to be the first marketplace that aims to equalize decentralized finance.
